Welcome to this corner of the Journal where we share loads of Ayurvedic recipes & food delights. We're about to take your taste buds on a journey to blissful indulgence and nourishment. Today, we bring you a delightful creation that we like to call "Anahata Love Bombs" – delectable bliss balls infused with our very own Anahata Tonic. These bite-sized treats are not only a delight for your senses but also a treasure trove of health benefits, specifically tailored for women's well-being.
At Śrī Soma, we believe in the power of food as medicine. We love to witness how natural ingredients will support our bodies' needs, and these Anahata Love Bombs are no exception. Packed with nutrient-rich elements, these bliss balls are designed to nourish both body and soul. Let's dive into the magical blend that makes these little spheres of love so phenomenal.

Starting with the base, dates bring their natural sweetness and immense energy-boosting properties to the table. And that's not all – dates are known to be rich in essential minerals and fiber, helping to support digestive health and keep our bodies in harmony. In Ayurveda, dates are celebrated for their Ojas (vitality) building properties. Their sweetness is perfect for Vata and Pitta.
Next up, we have the mighty chia seeds, tiny powerhouses of nutrition. These tiny seeds offer an abundance of omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidants, and fiber, all of which are crucial for maintaining hormonal balance, supporting bone health, and promoting radiant skin.
To add that unmistakable chocolatey goodness, we introduce cacao, the pure form of chocolate. Besides its delectable taste, cacao is rich in antioxidants, iron, and mood-enhancing compounds that can uplift your spirits and promote a positive mindset.
Shatavari, an adaptogenic herb renowned in Ayurvedic medicine, takes center stage in our Anahata Love Bombs. This herb has long been cherished for its ability to support the female reproductive system, balance hormones, and alleviate stress. By incorporating shatavari into these bliss balls, we aim to bring a sense of vitality and well-being to all the beautiful women who enjoy them.
To top it all off, we sprinkle a touch of rose – the ultimate symbol of love and beauty. Apart from its aromatic allure, rose is known to possess anti-inflammatory properties and can cultivate a sense of calm and serenity within. It's soft floral essence is the gentle antidote for the fiery heat of Pitta.
The culmination of all of these ingredients make these love bombs the perfect remedy for an aching heart, self-criticism, anger and as a sweet treat for the week leading up to your moon time or during your bleed.
Delicious, nutritious, and packed with self-care intentions, Śrī Soma's Anahata Love Bombs are sure to become a staple in your wellness routine. They are an exquisite way to nourish your body, enhance your femininity, and indulge in a moment of pure joy. So, join us on this flavorful journey and discover the magic of these enchanting bliss balls.
Here is the full recipe for these love-infused treats.

Love Bombs
Chocolately Bliss Ball Goodness
Ingredients
1/2 cup raw cashews
6 pitted medjool dates
2-3 tbsp Anahata
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
a pinch of sea salt flakes
3 tbsp coconut oil
1/2 cup shredded coconut
1 tbsp chia seeds
Method
Begin by blitzing the cashews in a food processor and pulse until the cashews form into a coarse flour (1-2 minutes). If using a high speed food processor such as a thermomix, blitz on high (speed 9) for around 15 seconds.
Scrape down the sides of the bowl and add in the remaining ingredients.
Pulse for another 1-2 minutes or blitz on high speed for another 15-20 seconds until the ingredients are evenly blended.
Take 1 tsp of mixture at a time and shape into a ball. Roll this in a little more shredded coconut and a little extra dusting of cinnamon if you feel like it! Store in the fridge in an airtight container.
These Love Bombs will keep up to 2 weeks in the fridge and 1 month in the freezer.
